Founded on October 29, 1923, under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Republic of Turkey was among the deputies of the Turkish Grand National Assembly at that time;
Ahmet Remzi Güres, who fulfilled his duties with great devotion, faith, and love in the restructuring process of our country, laid the foundations of the Güres Group on his farm in Saruhanlı, Manisa in 1938.
With the chicken farm that Ahmet Remzi Bey established in Saruhanlı in 1963 with 600 chickens, the activities in the egg sector, where Güres Group undertakes the leadership mission today, started.The year 1963, which symbolizes the birth and official establishment of Güres Group, established to operate in the field of farmland agriculture, fruit growing, and cattle dairy farming, was the year the group started to produce corn, wheat, grapes, and cotton.
By 1985, it had thrown to meet the feed needs of its integrated plants. Güres Feed Factory, which can operate with a capacity of 5000 kg per hour, was put into operation.
1989 marked the beginning of Güres' organic fertilizer activities.
With the Organic Fertilizer Plant investment, the fertilizers obtained from the chickens in the group's facilities were processed and brought into powder or pellet forms and presented to the market in sacks to meet the needs of the agriculture and greenhouse sectors.
In 1997, breeding and hatching facilities were established, where chick production was carried out.
As a result of long years of genetic studies and extensive field studies, the production of Bovans White chicks, a White Leghorn species with a calm and docile character, which can lay a large number of good quality eggs, whose sex can be distinguished from their feathers, has been started in the mentioned facilities.
In 2000, Güres Group decided to transfer its 37 years of experience and knowledge in the field of technology.
Thus, Güres Poultry Technology Machinery Industry and Foreign Trade LTD. STI. under the name; A cage production facility with fully automatic irrigation and feeding, fully automatic egg, and fully automatic manure collection systems put into operation for the best rearing of layer hens.
2002 was the year Güres Viol Factory was established. Thanks to the types of trays produced at the factory, it was possible to deliver the eggs obtained to the customers most appropriately.
In 2008, Güres Poultry Technology moved to its new factory based on more modern production, established in Saruhanlı, Manisa, with increasing chicken cage demands.
In 2012, Güres Group added a new one to its investments. Güres Quail Egg Production Facility, which carries quail egg production to quality and health conditions, has been established.
The Pasteurized Liquid Egg Production Facility became operational in 2012. Thanks to the facility, which uses the latest technology devices specially brought from abroad, has a high production capacity and produces in clean and hygienic conditions by prioritizing human health, sixty tons of eggs have been pasteurized every day.
In 2014, Güres Organic Fertilizer Facility, which has grown and increased in capacity, moved to its new and more modern facilities.
Güres Packaging Facility in Ishakçelebi was put into operation in 2015 to provide better service to their customers with the increasing production capacity.
Güres Quail Meat Production Facility is among the largest and most comprehensive quail facilities in Turkey and the largest in Europe, has started its activities in 2016. Thanks to the automation system and high technology used in the facility, production in European standards has begun.
Acting with the understanding of sustainable production, Güres Group commissioned a biomass energy facility that will produce energy from chicken manure thanks to the system developed by its expert R&D team in 2017.
In addition to its production activities in the food sector, it also provides services to the poultry sector; Continuing its activities in the fields of energy, technology, and agriculture, Güres Group broke new ground in Turkey by commissioning its new Investment Egg Powder Production Facility in 2022.
