Information Security Policy

As Güres Tavukçuluk A.Ş and its employees, to manage all kinds of risks regarding our information security, business continuity, and information assets;

  • To consider our corporate data and information (personal information, customer data, supplier data, etc.) valuable and critical, to fulfill the obligations required by laws and standards related to information security,
  • To maintain uninterrupted information technology services used in the realization of our corporate activities and to provide the necessary infrastructure to ensure that information can only having accessed by authorized persons, and to take security measures,
  • Establishing, documenting, and continuously improving the Information Security Management System, which is a requirement of the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard,
  • To follow the legal regulations and conditions related to information security,
  • To carry out the necessary pieces of training to increase the awareness of information security,
  • To ensure that outsourced service providers fulfill the needs and requirements of the information security system,
  • To define the information security requirements of third parties, customers, and suppliers and to ensure that they comply with the information security management system,

Animal Health Policy

Justification; Our Animal Health policy includes health practices in compliance with the legislation, adhering to the principles of preventive medicine within the framework of current biosafety practices. The rationale for this policy is to make a risk assessment among negative external factors to ensure the health of farm animals, which are a part of the food chain, and to protect human health in egg production.
Strategy: 'Prevention is cheaper than cure' As Güres Group, our animal production strategy; is to produce healthy breeders, chicks,  chickens, and eggs for human consumption.
Biosecurity: To keep our facilities away from diseases;

  • Controlling the entrance and exit of vehicles and equipment, disinfecting them, and ensuring their entrance
  • Taking a shower at the entry and exit of the farm, changing clothes, and using hand and foot disinfectants,
  • Complying with the clean zone versus dirty zone differentiation and disinfection rules at the entrance of the poultry house
  • Recording and limiting visitor entries,
  • Surrounding the business borders with wire fences to protect them from wild animals and threats,
  • pest and rodent control,
  • Controlled removal, processing, and conversion of chicken manure (Biomass Energy Production) provided.

Herd Management and Health; In fully automatic, sheltered coops for the herds to maintain their lives healthily, stress factors are minimized, and optimum heat, light, and ventilation conditions are provided. In hatching, breeding, and production facilities, daily performance values, feed, and water consumption of herds are monitored and recorded. Business cleaning and disinfection are done regularly and, their effectiveness is measured by laboratory controls.
Feeding; Necessary microbiological and toxicological analyses are to be performed during the preparation of feeding programs in line with the needs of the animals and the acceptance of raw materials used in feed production and before use.
 Drinking Water Quality; Regular chemical and microbiological analyses of drinking water are to be carried out to ensure that the herds consume healthy water. It is applied according to basic principles to strengthen the immune system and the resistance of animals against diseases. The immunity status of flocks is to be measured with laboratory tests at routine intervals, and vaccination is to be repeated when necessary.

Social Compliance Policy

GÜRES Group considers the creation and maintenance of a fair working environment for its employees as one of its most important priorities.
It aims to increase the success, development, and loyalty of the employees by creating a fair, respectful, healthy, and safe working environment in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Application basics

  • Company practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding employment and working life.
  • Company employees also fulfill all legal requirements within the scope of their activities and act following legal regulations.
  • Güres Group human resources policies and practices; ensure that all employment-related procedures, but not limited to recruitment, placement, promotion-transfer-rotation, termination of employment, dismissal, recall, transfer, leave, wage, additional payment, social rights, and training have been carried out without discrimination.
  • It is unacceptable to discriminate among employees within the organization based on language, race, color, gender, political opinion, belief, religion, sect, age, physical disability, pregnancy, lactating, and similar reasons.
  • A positive and harmonious working environment that supports cooperation is created in the company, and conflict environments are prevented, enabling people with different beliefs, thoughts, and opinions to work in harmony.
  • It does not allow unjustified interference with the work performance of any person or supervisor, or intimidation, deterrent, hostile or disturbing.
  • Güres Group does not employ forced and compulsory labor and child labor. (According to the law, child workers who are under the age of 15 must not be employed, the age is confirmed from the personnel ID photocopy before the personnel is hired as specified in the HR procedure)
  • The working conditions of the employees in the particular situation group (such as pregnant, young employees, and disabled employees) are provided under the laws.
  • Pregnant employees cannot work more than 7.5 hours/day overtime, and night work is not allowed.
  • For young employees, a working order not exceeding 40 hours per week is provided, overtime and night work are not allowed. It is not used in dangerous works.
  • The private life and personal spaces of the employees are respected.
  • Communications between persons cannot be violated by non-parties.
  • Even if it is recorded following the law, it is prohibited to unlawfully transfer/disseminate/capture personal data to others.
  • Personal information of the person arising from the nature of the business relationship and that may be required in the continuation of the workplaces are not used for purposes other than their purposes and are not shared with third parties without the consent of the persons.
  • The private and family life of all employees is respected.
  • In addition to all kinds of immunities of the employees, physical, sexual, and emotional immunities are also taken into consideration.
  • Violating the immunity of employees in any way through physical, sexual, or emotional harassment in the workplace or any place where they are due to work is against the law and ethical rules.
  • This crime is not tolerated by the Company in any way.
  • The purpose of this application is to ensure that employees work in a work environment where their physical, sexual, and emotional immunity is protected.

Occupational Safety Policy

Güres considers people as the most valuable asset in all its activities and adopts as its primary business goal to minimize all kinds of losses that may occur and to continuously improve it by creating a safer and healthier working environment. Necessary measures are to be taken to prevent possible accidents arising from process safety; Awareness of our employees, subcontractors, suppliers, visitors, and official authorities is increased through training, awareness-raising, and communication activities.

  • Working safely is a prerequisite for working at Güres. Therefore, Güres asks all its employees to work safely.
  • All managers within Güres are responsible for the occupational health and safety of all employees, subcontractors, and visitors under their management or control.
  • From the design stage of the products to the consumption process;
  • All raw materials, packaging materials, machinery, and equipment used are evaluated in terms of chemical, biological, and physical hazards and passed through an approval process.
